How does the symbol of the combs and/or the watch change in “Gift of the Magi?”

TS:The symbol of the co weakens and their love grows stronger.

CD:The comb symbolize Jims love for Della.

CM:This symbol of love weakens when Della cuts her hair.

CM:This is because her hair is to short to wear them.

CS: In conclusion they still love each other even though Della couldn’t use the comb.
